The FlexSMELL consortium consists of nine full partners representing eight countries across Europe, and one associate partner. FlexSMELL brings together well known experts, both academic and industrial partners coming from different areas of chemical, physics and engineering sciences, with specific and complementary expertise in different methods and techniques to share know-how and provide mutual support in direct interaction with the industrial environment. In the following paragraphs each partner is introduced in more detail.

    Department of Chemistry of University Aldo Moro in Bari, which coordinates FlexSMELL project, hosts two PhD schools one in Chemistry and the other in Innovative Materials. It has an extensive expertise in managing EU projects.

    Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland has three missions: education, research and technology transfer at the highest international level. At EPFL, IMT - Institute of Microengineering, and LEG - Electronics Laboratory, are involved in education and applied research in the fields of microelectronics and microsystems technologies.

2nd FlexSmell Training School

19-20 January 2012 Università degli studi di Bari Aldo Moro (Italy)

The 2nd FLEXSmell Training School titled Organic and printed Sensors will be held at Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro (Italy), UNIBA, on 19 and 20 January 2012 at Palazzo Ateneo Salone degli Affreschi.

Researchers outside FLEXSmell network who registered to the UNIBA Workshop on Material Science and Technology to be held on 18 January 2012 at the same venue, will be allowed to attend the school free of charges.
